Eating Recovery Wellness Groups

Are you caught in an endless cycle of obsessing about food and your body? Overeating, gaining weight, and then dieting to lose that weight? If so, you aren’t unlike many people who turn to food to self-soothe, to numb against emotional pain, or to cope with stress. If you’re ready to break free from your unhealthy relationship with food, you need to confront the underlying cause.

We invite you to join us for a 10 week workshop that will give you the tools to stop the seemingly endless cycle. The group will commence on June 30, 2022 and will be held for 10 weeks, every Thursday from 1pm-2pm. The cost is $50 per session and $25 for the supplemental workbook. Partial payment is required prior to the first workshop and we are happy to accept payment from health spending accounts.

Additionally, we offer a wellness group with a focus on yoga asana
(restorative postures), pranayama (breath work), and meditation to address issues common to our clients, such as anxiety and depression. This group helps clients increase body awareness and acceptance, learn techniques to manage emotions, and turn the focus inward to be in charge of their own natural healing abilities.

The group will last for an hour and will be held weekly.  Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in, and be prepared to practice in bare feet. Bring a yoga mat or a meditation cushion if you own one. If not, one will be provided.  Come with an open mind as we learn these simple, but important techniques for wellness and healing. Class size is limited, so please reserve your spot by calling 336.407.9548.
